While talking about alternatives to “pico”, my text editor of choice in Unix:

Miscellaneous answers

Hey,

No significant news today, except in response to some of Tim’s comments:

  • There’s nothing wrong with using the word Chris in most of your posts.
  • As far as the Quotes category being under the Chris category, I had a reason for that. But it’s been too long and I didn’t write it down and so I’ve forgotten.
  • You can say World War I doesn’t matter, but then you’d have to conclude that World War II didn’t matter much either. And then you’d have to conclude a lot of other stuff, and eventually the causes and effects would go all the way to now, and we probably wouldn’t have this blog. So you can’t claim that WWI doesn’t matter in this particular blog.
