According to Chris, I’m not the best player, I’m just the best coach.

    We could have a competition for best minesweeper solving system, but I don’t know of anyone who’s done it besides Tim.

    Actually, you ended up agreeing with me, but I’m too lazy to go read my logs. If I said “according to Tim”, it wouldn’t really carry any weight, but since you agreed with me about the coach thing, I can say that. For example, if the conversation was more along the lines of:

    Tim: Would I be the best player?
    Chris: No
    Tim: Would I be the champion?
    Chris: No
    Tim: Would I be the best coach?
    Chris: Yes

    The conversation would carry the same fundamental meaning, and you couldn’t really argue with my use of “according to Chris”
