This week I got an e-mail from a friend of mine inviting me to join a service called namesdatabse.com. Basically, the idea seems to be to link people to each other through schools and names, much like a friendster sort of service.
What’s odd about the site is how many e-mail addresses they request. While they don’t appear to have spammed me or anyone enough to mention it on google, it still seems a bit fishy. Usually for hoaxes and scams there’s a lot of info on Google, but this time there’s not much hard evidence. Any guesses?
