Thanks to Wordpress’s spam moderation, we’ve managed to prevent the evil people who leave fake comments on our blog from getting any play. (The war on terror could learn a lot from us.)

Anyways, all you who thirst for battle and the blood of your enemies, take heart. We may have a new war.

Alarmist? Maybe. Fun? You bet. Let the War on Poker rebegin!

Questions worth answering: A) Is online gambling addictive, and if so how addictive is it? B) Should society attempt to stop people from getting themselves addicted to things? C) What is the proper mechanism for stopping people, if there should be one?

Report indicate a great increase in the underground “chatter” of the advertisers, which may or may not indicate an upcoming attack.
This is no reason to be alarmed. We ask everyone to remain calm and continue to live as normal, but to please keep your security in mind at all times. There is no reason to raise the Warning level at this time, but please act like we did.

The wily terrorists have changed from writing texas holdem poker in our posts to texas holdem, but believe and be afraid, O You who profane the Blog: Allah is All-Forgiving and Most Merciful, but He will not suffer the blood of the Innocent. Take warning, cowards and criminals!

Approximately one hour ago, our forces captured a movie ticket and a five dollar movie gift certificate at the official floor poker tournament. This occured after a four-hour confrontation in which our players engaged forces from all sides. While the majority of the fighting is over, there is still work to be done and we will inform you as more intelligence becomes available.

This is a great victory in the war on poker, and I am proud of the man and woman who fought to make this day a reality. The war on poker is not over. Today we have engaged the enemy, and today we have prevailed. But what makes the readers of the Blog of Justice, the men and women of Canadia, and our brave soldiers in the field great, is our unified and persistant resolve. Heroes are not made in the course of days; they come from continued strength of character, our unwillingness to give up no matter how intimidating the foe or how daunting the obstacle.

There is no need to be alarmed, but please be advised that we are now in Warning Level Orange.

We’re not quite sure what warning level orange is yet, but we will let you know as soon as we have enough intelligence to figure out what it means. Today’s warning level was supposed to be yellow, but we couldn’t find that warning level, so we assumed it must be bad enough to be orange. Either that or I was too lazy to make yellow. We’ll have to get more intelligence to determine the answer to that question.
